These Terms & Conditions govern your use of metanoiacademy.com and the courses, digital assets, and memberships offered by Metanoia Academy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or purchasing a product or subscription, you agree to these terms. Please read them before completing your purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Enrollment is available to users aged 16 and above. Users under 18 must obtain parental or guardian authorization where required by applicable law.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials confidential. Accounts are for individual use and must not be shared, sold, or transferred.

3. Course Enrollment and Access

Course access is activated after successful payment confirmation.

Each course description specifies the access duration, included content, and software requirements. Unless otherwise stated, the access period begins when access is activated.

Access ends when the specified period expires. Extensions are not included unless expressly offered by Metanoia Academy. Continued access may require a new purchase.

Course purchases do not include software licenses, paid plugins, or other third-party products unless expressly stated.

4. Memberships and Subscriptions

Membership benefits depend on the selected plan and may include additional lessons, Tips & Tricks videos, digital resources, and asset discounts.

Full courses must be purchased separately unless a plan expressly includes them.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the price and billing interval disclosed at checkout unless cancelled before the next renewal.

You may cancel through the available account controls or contact info@metanoiacademy.com for assistance. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.

Membership content is available while your subscription is active. Rights to retain or use downloaded membership assets are governed by the applicable asset license.

We will notify you before subscription price changes take effect, allowing you to cancel before renewal at the new price.

5. Digital Assets and Licensing

Purchasing an asset grants a license to use it; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying asset.

Permitted personal or commercial uses, software compatibility, file formats, and additional restrictions are stated in the product description or accompanying license.

You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or upload original asset files—or modified versions that make the asset available for reuse—to another library, marketplace, or shared collection.

Where commercial use is permitted, you may incorporate the asset into completed projects, subject to its license. Delivering reusable source files to another party requires permission under that license.

Purchased assets include unlimited repeat downloads through your account. We recommend keeping your own backup copies.

6. Prices and Payments

The applicable price, currency, and any additional charges are displayed before payment.

Payments are processed through Paymob. Access is provided after successful payment confirmation. Metanoia Academy does not store complete payment card details on its servers.

7. Digital Delivery

All courses, assets, and subscriptions are delivered digitally. There is no physical shipping.

Access is normally provided through your account after payment confirmation. Processing delays or technical issues may occasionally affect activation.

If payment succeeds but access is missing, contact info@metanoiacademy.com with your order details.

8. Refunds, Cancellations and Exchanges

Course purchases

You may request a course refund within 24 hours of course access activation, provided both of the following conditions are met when you submit the request:

You have watched no more than 10% of the course’s total video duration.
You have not downloaded any course resources, including project files, assets, or other downloadable materials.

Watching a lesson repeatedly does not increase the percentage of unique course content viewed.

To request a refund, email info@metanoiacademy.com from your registered email address and include your order number and course name. Eligibility is assessed at the time we receive your request.

If approved, the refund will be issued through the original payment method, and access to the refunded course will be removed. Payment-provider processing times may vary.

Outside this window, or where these conditions are not met, we do not offer change-of-mind course refunds, except where required by applicable law.

Digital asset purchases

We do not offer change-of-mind refunds or exchanges after an asset has been downloaded.

If you have not downloaded the asset, contact us to request cancellation and a refund.

Memberships and subscriptions

We do not offer change-of-mind refunds for a billing period once membership content has been accessed or membership resources downloaded during that period.

If you have not accessed membership content or downloaded membership resources during the relevant billing period, contact us to request cancellation and a refund.

Cancelling automatic renewal stops future charges. It does not automatically refund the current billing period.

Payment and technical issues

If you experience a duplicate charge, failed delivery, a defective file, or content that materially differs from its description, contact us with your order details and an explanation.

We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include restoring access, supplying a corrected file, or issuing a refund where warranted or required by law.

These conditions do not exclude mandatory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not:

Share account credentials or provide others with access to purchased content.
Record, reproduce, distribute, or sell course videos or protected materials without permission.
Bypass access controls or download restrictions.
Interfere with platform security or operation.
Use the platform for unlawful activity.
Submit content that infringes another person’s rights.

10. Intellectual Property

Course videos, lessons, downloadable resources, assets, branding, and other platform content belong to Metanoia Academy or their respective rights holders.

Your purchase grants only the access or usage rights expressly stated in the relevant course description or asset license.

You retain ownership of your original work. Permission to feature student projects or testimonials is handled separately.

11. Availability and Support

We aim to maintain reliable access, but temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, or service-provider outages.

Contact us if an interruption prevents you from accessing purchased content. Any remedies required by applicable law remain available.

Support and instruction are provided to the extent described in the purchased course or membership plan.

12. Educational Outcomes

Our courses provide instruction and practical learning resources. Results depend on your experience, practice, equipment, and application of the lessons.

We do not guarantee employment, income, professional accreditation, or a particular level of proficiency unless expressly stated in the product description.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address account sharing, unauthorized distribution, security risks, or other material violations of these terms.

Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for serious misuse or security threats.

You may contact us to dispute a restriction. Any refund entitlement remains subject to applicable law.

14. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Metanoia Academy is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from platform use.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Please review it alongside these terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms and publish the revised version with a new date.

Material changes affecting ongoing subscriptions will be communicated before taking effect. Changes will not retrospectively reduce the access or license rights agreed for an existing purchase, except where required by law or agreed with you.
